The joy of work and reverence for the climate and soil are those factors that the Fassold family preserve as a winemaking tradition to this day.
At the Fassold wine farm on the Neusetzberg in the market town of Straden, the Fassolds have been living and working for four generations. The traditional family business is located directly on the southeast Styrian hill country wine route. Bernhard Fassold is the youngest winemaker in the family circle. He strives to press authentic wines with expressive characters. The vineyards are located primarily on southern slopes, where the vines thrive on deep alluvial soils with volcanic rock outcrops.
Straden Pinot Gris is just one of the premium quality wines you can taste at Weinhof Fassold. Ten different wines in 15 different maturation variations are offered: From Welschriesling to Rosé, Zweigelt and sparkling Frizzante.
