Straden

Straden - Culture. Good. So beautiful. With its four churches and three church towers visible from afar, the pilgrimage town of Straden towers over the region. Already five millennia ago, man found his way to this place, which has developed into the cultural stronghold of southeastern Styria.

About the region

The people of Stradn and Stinz have a love of customs, countless quaint cellars, just as many basket weavers, a poet of their homeland and the colorful European Roller. Well protected, the latter spends its summers only there, where the world is still in order. Like a butterfly, the farm has become a colorful jewel box for vacationers in recent years. The content: one of the most beautiful views of Straden, idyllic vineyards, Buschenschenken, Mangalitza pigs and the healing spring "Johannisbrunnen".

Can you hear the tractors rattling? In Krusdorf, agriculture sets the tone. Many hardworking farmers offer turkey specialties, smoked meat, dewy vegetables, eggs and honey from the farm. Raid the region's larder and reap the fruits of hard work at traditional feasts with the residents.
