The Long Night of Museums invites visitors to the Murtal once again – seven museums are opening their doors and offering a colorful and varied program. From glittering stone worlds to the secrets of aviation and nostalgia on the Haflinger tour, visitors to the Murtal can look forward to a colorful program.

When the leaves turn golden, the air becomes clearer, and the mountains glow in warm light, a very special season begins in the Murtal valley: AUTUMN – an atmospheric combination of regional cuisine, traditional hospitality, and impressive nature experiences dominated by the Swiss stone pine. From September 15 to 28, 2025, the Murtal Tourism Association, together with participating businesses in the Seetal Alps, Rottenmanner Tauern, and the valley, invites locals and guests alike to enjoy the Murtal Swiss stone pine autumn with all their senses.

A place to flourish: education and health in the middle of nature MOAR - DER HOF is located in the upper Murtal, nestled in meadows, forests and gentle mountains, a place where experiencing nature, educational work and promoting mental health come together in a special way. On June 13, 2025, the farm in Weißkirchen run by Eva-Maria König and Leonhard Madl was officially certified as a Green Care farm.

25 years of passion, technology and community will be celebrated at the Murtal Classic from June 6 to 8, 2025. What began in 1999 has developed into a permanent fixture on the European classic car scene. At the press conference on 26.5.2025, Josef “Pepe” Kriebernegg provided information about the comprehensive program for the anniversary event.

Until 2011, the Judenburg-Pölstal area was a fixture on the calendar of the Austrian Rally Championship, closely associated with the name Castrol. However, the race also disappeared from the program when the long-standing main sponsor withdrew its commitment. Since last year, however, the rally classic in the Murtal valley has once again been held as the fourth stage of the TEC7 ORM national championship. This year for the second time on May 30/31 as the ET KÖNIG Rally powered by Peter Hopf Erdbau - Mietpark.
