The small, idyllic place of Nägelsdorf - located just around five kilometers west of Straden - is home to the Dunkl family. In the 1970s, Anton Dunkl laid the foundation for the establishment of the present family business. Back then, the wine was still consumed as "house drink," but the ambition to produce only the best has been clear from the very beginning.
In the 1990s, the cellar was remodeled and in 2005 became what it is today: a place where imagination, taste, and joy come together. Nicole and Michael Dunkl now run the business in the second generation, combining tradition with sensitivity to create a top product.
