Urtypical and classic Buschenschank with all facets of the traditional feel-good ambience in Straden.
The small, idyllic village of Nägelsdorf - located only about five kilometers west of Straden - is home to the Dunkl family. In the 70s, Anton Dunkl laid the foundation for the development of today's family business. At that time, wine was still consumed as a "home drink", but the ambition to produce only good was clear from the beginning.
In the 90's the cellar was rebuilt and in 2005 it was made into what it is today: a place where imagination, taste and joy meet. Nicole and Michael Dunkl now run the business in the second generation and combine tradition with sensitivity to produce a top quality product.
In addition to quality wine, they also offer a quintessential and classic southeast Styrian Buschenschank. The focus is on regionality. Family Dunkl remains true to the basic attitude "back to the source": with the home-grown wines, the own Styrian pumpkin seed oil, noble schnapps and liqueurs and of course sweet delicacies from the bakery, lovingly baked according to old recipes and refined for every palate with new ideas.
