Pleasurable hiking through the gently rolling landscape of ApfelLandes-Stubenbergsee, that is a treat for body and soul.
Of course, the physical well-being must not be neglected. Therefore, take your time to enjoy the culinary delicacies of the ApfelLand-Stubenbergsee region. The Genussrundweg begins in Anger near Weiz and leads you first on the adventure trail honey bee, in the fairy tale forest, then it continues towards Fresenkogl. Unique - under a material cable car, which still today delivers the talc stone from the Rabenwald to Feistritz near Anger you go through and come to the inn Bergenuss Holzerbauer. Here you can stop for a break to fortify yourself with culinary delicacies before continuing on to the "Eckzeiler Kreuz" and the "Kreilkogl". Always accompanied by the gently rolling landscape of eastern Styria. In Unterfeistritz, the next culinary stop awaits you, the "Stixpeter" inn, where great value is also placed on high-quality products from local producers. Strengthened, the tour then continues along the Feistritztalradweg R8 back to Anger.

ApfelLand is located in the heart of Eastern Styria, approx. 60 km northeast of Graz and approx. 140 km south of Vienna By car: Coming from Vienna: Via the southern motorway (A2) to the Hartberg exit - via the federal road (B54) in the direction of Graz - 2 km to Kaindorf in the direction of Graz, turn off towards ApfelLand-Stubenbergsee- Stubenbergsee- Floing- Anger Coming from Salzburg/Germany: Motorway via Salzburg - Pyhrnautobahn (A9) to Graz - continue on the southern motorway towards Vienna (A2) to the Gleisdorf West exit - Bundesstraße (B54) to Kaibing - ApfelLand-Stubenbergsee- Stubenbergsee- Floing- Anger

The Genussrundweg leads you at the beginning along the "Erlebnisweg Honigbiene" into the "Märchenwald". Continue along the "honey bee adventure trail" past a fish pond to a road, keep left here and after about 50 m change to the other side and follow the markings "Blau|Weiß" and "Genussrundweg".After about 10 minutes of walking you will come to the "Schott-Hansl- Kreuz". The cross, which dates back to 1722, has been completely renovated and offers a magnificent view of "Keppeldorf and Schulhausviertel" in the municipality of Anger.Follow the markings "Blau| Weiß" (blue and white) and "Genussrundweg" (enjoyment circular route) under the material cableway, which still delivers the talc from Rabenwald to Feistritz bei Anger, and after about 0.5 km you will arrive at the Gasthof Bergenuss Holzerbauer, where you can stop for a break before continuing on your way after a good meal until you reach a road junction. Keep to the right and immediately after about 20m turn left. It continues on an asphalt road (very little used) until you reach the "Eckzeiler Kreuz". Keep right and follow the markings to the "Kreilkogl" cross.Downhill you continue to the red and fallow deer enclosure of the Schmalleger family. Here there is a self-service machine that is stocked with juices and homemade sausages and much more.
Afterwards, the trail continues fresh and lively along the Genussweg and takes you to the village of Lebing and on to Unterfeistritz, where the next stop, GH "Stixpeter", is already waiting for you. The owner family Kulmer also runs a fruit farm. Accordingly, you can enjoy liquid and solid apple products from their own production in the inn. On the cycle path R8 you walk along the Feistritz river under a viaduct to the mare's milk stud farm Töchterlehof ( the farm store is open), further to the cafe "Die Glocke". From there on the R8 back to Anger to the starting point.Take your time for this culinary hike and enjoy the special delicacies in the ApfelLand.

Hartberg train station is located near the ApfelLand-Stubenbergsee.
Take the train to Hartberg, from there buses go to Stubenberg and on to Anger.

For local transportation we recommend the shared cab SAM.
SAM is not a classic cab, but fills the mobility gap where bus and train do not run. SAM thus takes into account and complements the existing public transport in the long term and sustainably.
