Country-City-Round, Pöllau - Hartberg

From the "Rome of Eastern Styria" in the Pöllau Valley Nature Park out to the district town of Hartberg with its historic town center. On the way back, a particularly beautiful view awaits at the St. Anna Chapel.
Two very special places and fortunately not too far apart: Pöllau is also known as the "Rome of Eastern Styria" due to its beautiful castle complex and parish church, which is reminiscent of St. Peter's Basilica. Hartberg has 3,000 years of history, a historic town center and is a shopping town. These two towns are connected by the R57 regional cycle path, which leads out through the Pöllau Valley Nature Park without any major inclines. On the way back, there is a small "mountain climb" up to St. Anna's Church, a magical place with an equally magical view.

Apart from a short stretch, the cycle tour leads along asphalted roads, with the only real ascent being up to St. Anna.
