Straße der EnergiewAEnde (Street of Energy Turn-Walls), Gleisdorf

Open
At 8 stations (with informative “Energy Turn-Walls”) in the city center, visitors are confronted with environmental problems and possible solutions for an energy transition.
The modern adventure trail, which starts at the well-known “Solar Tree”, makes the topic of solar energy in Gleisdorf accessible and tangible again. But that's not all - with the new "Straße der EnergiewAEnde (Street of Energy Turn-Walls)" an adventure route is being created through the city, which also highlights the topics of the environment and sustainability and encourages people to think about the energy challenges of the future. A digital “tool” is provided at the stations to make the themed trail more entertaining and thus make the visit a positive and exciting experience. The interaction along the “Straße der EnergiewAEnde (Street of Energy Turn-Wall)” takes place mainly digitally, through new and innovative forms of experience, with the "EnergiewAEnde app" (with 2D and 3D animations), through which the QR codes at the stations can be scanned via smartphone or tablet. The "EnergiewAEnde app" is the target group-oriented basis for the “energy quiz” and the “solution videos” at the stations.

The theme trail begins at the landmark of the town of Gleisdorf, the solar tree on the main square, with the 1st “Energy Turn-Wall”. From there, we turn left past the main square and down Bürgergasse to Intersport Pilz, we keep right there and after the Fritz car dealership we will find the 2nd information board (EnergiewAnd) on the right-hand side. Then we go back to Intersport Pilz and reach the 3rd EnergiewAnd on Franz-Tanner-Straße near the Stadtcafé. At the end of this alley we will find the bus station with the 4th information board on the left opposite. After the bus station, we turn right into Gartengasse and after a few minutes we will arrive at the entrance to the city park. The 5th energy wall with information is waiting here and the 6th board can be found in the park by the fountain. The path then leads again from the city park entrance to the right up to the forumKLOSTER, where the 7th energy wall is located on the right in the former monastery garden. After the parking lot, turn right towards the child's house and turn left before it towards the high school, and finally turn left again at the roundabout towards the main square and solar tree. Right next to the upper small roundabout we will find the Sonnenpark with the 8th energy wall on the right. With the solar tree the path comes full circle again.

Another 4 stations in the surrounding area also invite you to think:
