Kring gallows circuit, Vorau
A beautiful walk through the market Vorau, which has a lot to offer for culture enthusiasts due to the two churches (Market Church and Cross Church).
The path leads through the beautiful market Vorau, along the sidewalk, past many benches, Materln and the unique Kreuzkirche. This pilgrimage trail is also recommended in winter.
Interesting to know: Vorau had 330 years the right and duty to be "blood plaintiff" and "blood judge" for intentional committed major crimes - remains of the gallows from this time can still be seen!
