Fischbacher Höhenweg, Fischbach

• From our starting point - the village square in Fischbach - we walk slightly uphill in a northerly direction past Veronika's herb farm
• After this we turn right towards Glatzhofer on path no. 7
• We follow this leisurely path past flower-decorated farmhouses and enjoy the wonderful view of the mountain spa town of Fischbach and Eastern Styria
• After a short break at the “Glatzhofer”, we take the same leisurely walk back or extend the hike via a short, very steep path to the actual end point at the Schneidhofer Kreuz cross
• From there we either hike back the same way or walk in the direction of Teuflestein to the Untere Halterhütte (No. 740. From there we follow the blue “Alpsteig” markings to the left to Fischbach
• Peter Rosegger already hiked this trail. We rejoin the Fischbacher Höhenstraße at the Ofenlurger farm and return to Fischbach via no. 7
