This is a nice hike through nature, far away from the main road.
The motto here is to enjoy the picturesque landscape and explore the different towns of Schöder and Baierdorf. On the way there are one or two "bankers" to linger or a restaurant to stop off at.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive to Murau. In Katsch an der Mur, keep right again and drive via St. Peter am Kammersberg to Schöder.
Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur), keep left and drive to Schöder.
From the S8 starting point, walk towards the church at the Hirschenwirt inn, after about 50m turn right and walk along the ascending, asphalted community path to the gravel road. Continue straight ahead and follow the signs, then continue down the path past the “Pöppler” farm on the old forest path. Here you come back to the settlement area. Continue left until you pass the waste collection point and keep right towards Gasthof Neuwirt. Here you pass the starting point S7. You pass behind the inn, after a short asphalted section you can continue hiking on the gravel road towards the shady side for about 1 km.
Cross the bridge and follow the ascending path up to the forest road. Now go right towards Schöder for about 1 km. You now come back to the settlement area. You walk past Haus Ostermann. Continue on the path towards the town center. Keep going straight until you reach the main road. Cross this and return to the starting point.
