The Masenberg at 1,262 m above sea level is the last high spur of the Central Alps to the east. With its long mountain ridge, it separates the Vorau basin in the north and the Lafnitz valley in the east.

In the Schützhütte on the Masenberg or the Masenberger Olmstoll you will find regional, culinary delicacies. Just above the refuge is the summit cross, where you can take a great photo.
Benches and meadows are ideal for unpacking the picnic basket and popping the corks with your loved ones or for spending a romantic afternoon.
