This house, which is over 300 years old, gives insight into the way of life and culture of the mountain farmers and craftsmen of yesteryear. The smokehouse is completely furnished and is still heated for cooking and smoking.
Then, under the pitch-black streetcar ceiling, pickled pieces of meat hang in the smoke. Occasionally we cook the "Häfennigl" for our guests on the open hearth.
The original furnishings, painted boxes, tools of the farmers, shingle and thatched roofers, coopers, cobblers, tailors and weavers, as well as old pictures and documents give an idea of the past. More than 300 exhibits tell about the joys and sorrows of the old times.
