Climbing is very important in Breitenau am Hochlantsch: be it on the Franz Scheikl via ferrata or at the "Alice" ice waterfall. There are many ways to live out your passion for climbing. In the "Tiefenbachgraben" there is the 23 meter high ice waterfall "Alice" with a difficulty of WI4. Here, experienced climbers can prove their skills at the ice waterfall.
The "Alice" icefall is located in the Tiefenbachgraben in the nature park community of Breitenau am Hochlantsch. The 23m high column was built with care and expertise and offers perfect stability with a level of difficulty around WI4. The icefall can be avoided by an insured ascent. This also gives you the opportunity to climb top rope. In addition to the large ice column, there is also a smaller one with about 18 meters, which is available for basic techniques.
