Floisenkogel Summit Cross

This place invites you to linger - take a break. The cross is located in the middle of the forest and belongs to Miesenbach.

Miesenbach lies at 872m to 1,256m above sea level and enchants with its abundance of forest. The many themed trails, such as the water trail or the cult hiking trail to the Wildwiese, are particularly popular. A lookout awaits you on the Wildwiese. This offers you a wonderful view of the region and on a clear day you can even see as far as Hungary.

You can relax and enjoy nature on the bench next to the Floisenkogel summit cross (1,217 m). Sit down consciously and enjoy the silence, perhaps you will even hear birdsong.

The summit cross is also a weather cross. These serve as a weather blessing and are intended to protect against sudden changes in the weather. They also provide orientation for hikers and are usually located at forks in the path.
