A place of power to pause, observe and relax - in the middle of East Styria, the garden of Austria
The Beistein is a large rock and the local mountain of Grafendorf near Hartberg. Located in the middle of the forest, at an altitude of 813 meters, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Styrian and Burgenland hills, leave everyday life behind, feel nature and really recharge your batteries. It is also interesting that the Celts were here on full moon nights prayed to their gods. Idyllic hiking trails will take you to places of happiness and power, steadily increasing to the Beistein. The circular hikes with summit ascent are recommended. The hiking trails there amount to a walking time of 1.5 to 2 hours.
