An art vending machine on the main square in Pöllau offers works of art to go.

After an artistic transformation, an old cigarette vending machine became the Art Machine. In the middle of Pöllau's main square, you can buy small signed originals by selected artists around the clock for only 4 euros. The small art surprises can be pictures, objects, prints, photographs, drawings or poetry and prose in miniature format. Every year, the filling is supplemented with new works by different artists. These will be presented to the public as part of a colorful vernissage. An overview of the artists involved and the possible contents of the box on offer can be found on the website. For many residents and visitors of Pöllau, the Art Machine gave the impetus for their own art collection, at least in miniature format.
