On November 28, 2024, a culinary highlight will take place at the Almwellneshotel Pierer together with the Grabenwerkstatt winery: A winemaker's dinner with a selected tasting menu and samples of the family winery's exquisite wines offers a perfect culinary evening dedicated to Alpine enjoyment.

Process:

From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. you can enjoy a wine tasting with a carefully coordinated dinner. From 9.30 p.m. the evening ends with a cozy fireside chat in our spectacular wine vault.

Information about the winery:
The Grabenwerkstatt was founded in 2014, but the idea for it came before, when the two young winemakers were in New Zealand together, where they got to know a new world of wine that has shaped them to this day. Biodynamic principles play just as much a role in your philosophy today as the meticulous examination of each individual vine, manual work and the attempt to trace the spirit of the place in the Waldviertel. Most recently honored as Newcomer of the Year 2023 at the Wine Award from “Der Feinschmecker” in Germany, the two rely solely on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling out of the conviction that the two varieties best reflect the full potential of the Spitzer Graben.
