Pilgrimage church below the Hochlantsch summit
In the small pilgrimage church of Schüsserlbrunn, which clings picturesquely to the rock face below the Hochlantsch peak, church services are held regularly. The church is always closed from November 1 to April 30! The church as well as the church services can only be reached on foot.
The shortest way leads from the Teichalm (start & parking Teichalmsee) slightly ascending over a slightly worse forest road to the inn Steirischer Jokl, then down (198 wooden steps) to the church.

The popular excursion destination Schüsserlbrunn is located at 1,363m above sea level and can only be reached on foot. The name is derived from the healing spring that springs from the rock face. In the middle of the rock stands a small "rock bowl", which collects the healing water. There are many legends and tales about this place. According to the parish chronicle, it was already a place of worship in the middle of the 18th century. Today, services are celebrated in the chapel several times a year - mainly on the feast days of the Virgin Mary - and the church is still a popular destination for groups of pilgrims who are good on foot.
From the inn "Steirischer Jockl" - a popular place for a rest and stop with a breathtaking view - it goes down 198 steps to the little church. The church is located on several hiking trails. The shortest path leads from the Teichalm (start Teichalmsee) directly to the inn Steirischer Jokl via a poor forest road (walking time about 1.5 hours in one direction).
