More information

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Here turn right in the direction of Murau. In Niederwölz keep right to Oberwölz.

From Tamsweg drive via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) to Murau. Continue to Niederwölz and then continue to Oberwölz.

From the information center opposite the parish church, walk west through the Hinteregger gate, past the cemetery through the avenue to the "Obere Schütt". Here you leave the main road to the right and follow the asphalt road marked "Mainhardsdorf" to the farmstead vlg. "Neuntaler". Immediately afterwards, follow the gravel road uphill to the left. You will cross the farmsteads "Unterer Korösl" and "Oberer Steuber". On this path you have a wonderful view back to Oberwölz and the Wölzer valley.

When you leave the meadow path, take the forest path downhill to the left and you will reach the farmstead "Unterer Steuber". Here you immediately turn left and follow an old path through a sparse forest downhill until you reach the village of Mainhardsdorf. There you cross the main road, turn right and at the village sign turn left again to the farmstead "Rottenhofer". From here you can already see Oberwölz. At the junction of Hinterburgerstreet you turn right, cross the Wölzerbach and then immediately left again. From here, follow the path in the direction of the leisure center.
