Fichtenbründl trail (Fichtenbründl-Weg)

The Fichtenbründl trail, as the name suggests, runs mostly along charming forest paths.
The starting point of the hiking tour is the center of St. Magdalena. The 12.4 km long hike leads through several villages, which are located near the village. During the hike along the forest trails you can marvel at the diversity of nature and additionally get enough oxygen.

Freeway A2 direction Graz - you take the exit Sebersdorf/ Bad Waltersdorf, then direction St. Magdalena.

The starting point of the hiking route is in the center of St. Magdalena. Continue to Mitterndorf. Here you cross the Mitterndorfer valley, then it goes briefly uphill. Now you come to the rest area "Wegerer Acker". Downhill in the direction of "Fichtenbründl" you also pass the so-called "Zwergenmühle". On a forest road you go to the provincial road in the Lafnitztal. From Wörth you hike again in the direction of St. Magdalena. Here you go over the Biriwald to Mitterndorf and come back to the starting point.
  1. start in the center of St. Magdalena
  2. continue to Mitterndorf
  3. cross the Mitterndorfer valley - briefly uphill
  4. resting place "Wegerer Acker
  5. downhill towards "Fichtenbründl'" and "Zwergenmühle
  6. on forest road to the provincial road in the Lafnitz valley
  7. back via Wörth
  8. via the Biriwald to Mitterndorf
  9. back to the starting point (village center St. Magdalena)
