Themed gardens at 1,000 metres above sea level
In the flower village of St. Kathrein am Offenegg, Sissy Sichart designed a beautiful botanical garden at 1,000 metres above sea level. The garden is divided into terraces with 24 different theme gardens. Ornamental trees, shrubs, medicinal herbs and much more can be found here.
Afterwards, you can smell the herbs and plants in the herb shop and buy the resulting products.
During an audio tour (German & English) you can learn a lot of interesting facts about the different plants and the origin of the "Hanging Gardens of Sulamith".
Numerous events also take place here, the Garden Pleasure Festival, various workshops and seminars as well as live concerts are on the programme.
The guided tour with the audio guide is free with the GenussCard. All information on the GenussCard can be found at www.genusscard.at.
