Around the Blumenberg Reiting, nature lovers in Kammern experience relaxing days amidst intact fauna and flora. A popular destination is the Rittersteig trail to Mautern, which leads past the castle ruins of Kammerstein and Ehrenfels. Informative information boards along the Rittersteig tell of the time of the robber barons in the 12th century. On the eight-kilometre-long trail from Kammern to Mautern, the ruins still give an idea of the former reign of terror.
Other contemporary witnesses can be seen in the Kammern museum courtyard. The stone barn, rebuilt after the great fire of 1874, together with a neighbouring agricultural-historical jewel of the first order, the former estate of the Steinrisser family, have been combined to form a museum ensemble. The Museumshof Kammern houses the Böckel Collection - agricultural machinery, tools and equipment from long forgotten times, as well as the Schüssler Collection with 400 fossils in the exhibition: "500 Million Years of Earth History".
In terms of culinary delights, Kammern offers regional and international delicacies - discover the variety in the "Genussreich rund um Erzberg und Leoben", an initiative of local restaurateurs and producers.
