St. John´s way (Johannesweg)
The Johannesweg is a circular trail with a special place of power at the Rinnquelle.
After the renovation of the St. John's Cross on the Johannesriegel, the Ladler family in the market town of Jagerberg came up with the idea of integrating this Christian signpost into a circular path, as it says in John 14:6: "I am the way, the truth and the life. Along the way, stations or resting places were erected at very scenic spots, where pithy words from the Gospel of John invite you to meditate.
For people with a special interest in natural contexts, the branch path (15 min.) to the Rinnquelle, a very special water place, was created. The texts at the individual stations are adapted to the respective natural space and are self-contained, i.e. no particular direction is given.
The symbol of the chalice with the snake shows the way. The St. John's Way is a meditation path that allows a little time out, contemplation and switching off in the middle of the usual living space with a view of creation.
