The former Dorfwirtshaus has changed fundamentally in recent years. In 2019, it will be exactly 20 years since Sonja and Richard Rauch took over the traditional house and gradually transformed it into one of Austria's leading addresses. 4 Gault-Millau bonnets, 5 A la Carte stars, 3 Falstaff forks or the award "Gault-Millau Chef of the Year 2015" are just some of the many honours for the cuisine of Richard Rauch, who is now present in Austria and Germany as a TV chef. His cuisine is deeply rooted in Styria, but without neglecting to look beyond his plate to the Alpe-Adria region.
