Infinitely Styrian
It doesn't take much to describe Martin Wippel's wines: the highest quality from the volcanic soil of Vulkanland Styria, a bit of ambition, careful winemaking and a bit of individuality. The Wippel family has a great appreciation for this precious wine. The fact that they are on the right track is also reflected in the numerous awards they have received.
The range of varieties extends from the typical Styrian Welschriesling to full-bodied and powerful wines with high ageing potential and fine fruit. The white wines are vinified exclusively in stainless steel tanks to guarantee the typical varietal character. The red wines, on the other hand, are matured in wooden barrels. Blauer Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Blauburger for one year, the Cuvees Mystica and Shania for at least two years.
A commented wine tasting at Weinhof Wippel is a special experience. Be sure to take a look in the panorama room. The name Panoramaraum is no coincidence, as here you can enjoy a sensational view of the proud and lofty Riegersburg, which is enthroned on a volcanic rock.
