At Weinhof Gwaltl in Fehring, only first-class products are put into the bottle - and, from this point of view, also into the glass.
Powerful Wine EnjoymentOn around five hectares of land, the Gwaltl family has been practicing viticulture for two generations in the Fehring region. The prime locations are Kuruzzenkogel and Heißberg, where the vineyards are planted on volcanic and partly sandy loam soils.
Master winemakers Karl and Reinhard Gwaltl place great importance on the highest grape quality. The careful manual work in the vineyards, combined with the cellar work, results in "g’waltige" wine quality!
The range of wines includes classic Styrian white wines such as Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as classic and mature red wines. All of these can be tasted during a guided wine tasting at the farm (by prior telephone appointment).
