We joined the Global Compact back in 2001 and thus support numerous UN projects, including those relating to environmental protection and human rights.
In order to continuously improve the quality of our products, our research and development laboratory in Milan cooperates closely with leading universities and institutes around the world, such as MIT (USA), Politecnico Milano (Italy) and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (Italy).
Eni Austria - think globally, act locally
As a subsidiary of the globally active Italian energy group Eni S.p.A., Eni Austria is one of the leading oil companies on the Austrian market.
Eni is the full-service provider for the distribution of oil products in Austria. Fuels are distributed via a network of around 320 service stations and, together with heating oil
together with heating oil, liquid gas and bitumen via the wholesale trade. Lubricants are sold directly by the company's own experienced sales representatives.
The beginnings of Eni Austria in Austria under the well-known brand name Agip, which is still used in other countries today, date back to 1959.
With the takeover of Esso and Mobil in Austria in 2010, Eni has established itself as the No. 1 branded service station in Austria.
What has remained is the trademark - the well-known six-legged dog with the flaming tongue. It embodies the affiliation to the parent company as well as the tangible
"Italianitá", with which Eni Austria presents itself to customers as an Italian oil company.
Eni Austria employs around 180 people, 120 of whom work in Austria. The customer base includes motorists, car dealers & garages, agricultural machinery workshops,
transportation & construction companies, industry and trade as well as airlines.
