It happens every five years - the big winegrowers' parade takes place in St. Anna am Aigen. The focus is of course on local wine, but also on culinary delights, conviviality and tradition.
Every 5 years:big winegrowers' parade 2024 Around 30 associations from the south-eastern Styrian market town of St. Anna am Aigen will once again take part in 2024 and decorate elaborate show and tasting floats. Each float has a theme; in 2019, for example, these were floats with the following themes: “Wimbledon in the vineyard”, “Phylloxera”, “Vespa and wine”
From the Lange Tafel to the market square and on to Kardinal-Frühwirth-Platz, these are then lined up after a presentation ride and the St. Anna'rer clubs serve food to visitors directly at the culinary floats. Around 6,000 visitors are expected.
Delicacies from south-eastern StyriaAs with every traditional festival in Styria, the culinary specialties must not be neglected - these take center stage together with the wine from the Vulkanland Steiermark DAC region. Drinks and food are sourced exclusively from the thermal and volcanic region of Styria. The colorful parade is accompanied by folk music, also exclusively from the region.
