Opening of the nativity scene on the main square in Fehring

To kick off the Fehring Advent season and to open the nativity scene in the main square of Fehring, the music school, along with the Fehring singing club and the choir "oafoch g‘sungan", will perform the "Great Christmas Partita" by Alfred Bösendorfer at the parish church of Fehring.

The "Great Christmas Partita" - "and suddenly, from the darkness, it was there: the joyful message," is a ringing Christmas story, consisting of a total of 11 varied parts. The finely tuned work presents the Christmas story with a solo woodwind ensemble, a mixed choir with singers from the music school's singing class, soloists from the music school, and a narrator who guides through the 11 parts of the partita.
