This hike starts at Anger swimming pool. We take hiking trail 14 in the direction of Rabenwald. We pass the Märchenwaldsiedlung and come to Dunsteckstraße, which we follow to Dunstbauer. On the way, after the turn-off into the Schatt, we can already see the Ödbauer farm on the left and the Irrbauer farm further uphill. Above the Dunstbauer farmstead, we take the left-hand path at the fork and walk to the Berghofer farm. From there, continue north, where we meet a path into the forest at the end of the meadow. At the end of this forest path is the Hasenschneider. We continue to the Baierdorf elementary school, where we turn right after the school. After an uphill section, we find three paths in the forest. The middle path leads us to the farmstead with the vulgar name Kramplhansl. We walk up the road to the right until we reach a road junction, where we continue straight on towards the Prem farmstead and after the farmstead we follow field and goods roads until we reach Rabenwaldstraße.

We walk up Rabenwaldstraße to the right and reach Grundbauer, the last house on the left. Diagonally opposite, we leave Rabenwaldstraße and turn into a goods road, which we leave after 20 meters at an acute angle downhill to the right. We follow this path until we reach the Talcum cable car. We turn right onto hiking trail 14 and walk down to the second cable car support (counted from the top). After the support, we turn left and follow the forest and meadow path downhill until we see the Wedlbauer or Hummelbauer farm on our right. We walk past the Wedlbauer in the direction of Fresenkogel, but turn left after approx. 400 m and reach the "BERGGENUSS Holzerbauer" inn via a field path. After refreshments at the inn, continue over the Fresenkogel to Hartbauerstraße. After crossing Hartbauerstraße, we see the Gründbauer farmhouse down to the left. We walk past the farmhouse and follow a field path in a south-westerly direction, then along the edge of the forest and then through the forest. Finally we reach Reisenhofstraße. We follow this road for approx. 300 m in a north-westerly direction and turn left. At the end of the country lane, the path continues through the forest. On the way, we come across the abandoned Steinbauer farmstead. Finally we reach the Wundbauer. From there we walk along the road back to Anger.

We recommend:    A visit to the Gasthof BERGGENUSS
