The kitchen serves freshly prepared East Styrian home cooking for lunch. From 2 p.m. onwards, the restaurant serves snacks. With a breathtaking view, the panorama stretches from the Pannonian Plain across Eastern Styria all the way to Slovenia.
You can tell from the rustic interior that Flourl's Schenke upholds tradition. This is also true of the cuisine. Great importance is attached to using products from the region. The meat products are sourced from the Gruber butcher's shop in Vorau. Pastries are made by the Schenke itself according to the motto - they don't have to look like the confectioner's, but taste like grandma made them.
Soup garnishes, home-made sausage, soft cheese and spreads come from the Flourl kitchen. The meat is also refined in the in-house smoked meat processing plant.
Larger groups of up to 130 people can of course also be catered for in the afternoon if booked in advance.
There is also the opportunity to take delicious delicacies from Eastern Styria home with you for your loved ones. Flourl's Schenke offers farmyard sales of rye bread, smoked meat, honey, seed oil, schnapps, spreads, pastries and much more.
