The Children's Day on Saturday, December 6, 2025, offers, in addition to the Christmas craft workshop, the puppet theater with Stefan Karch "Emil and the Monsters" at the Weberhaus, with performances at 3 PM and 4 PM.
For the youngest visitors, there will also be a craft workshop for Christmas decorations. On this Saturday, Saint Nicholas will also visit the Christkindlmarkt in Weiz at 5 PM to reward well-behaved children with delicious treats.
On each Advent Saturday, the Christkindlmarkt takes place in the beautiful glow of Christmas lights in the area of Kunsthaus-Passage, Rathausgasse, Bismarckgasse, K&K-Passage, as well as at the Südtiroler Platz. In a festive atmosphere, a diverse range of arts and crafts, high-quality goods, and delightful treats are offered. The Weiz associations and charitable organizations also cater to their members, friends, and visitors in the association hut village and throughout the entire market area. The circus school of the Weiz Music School will provide a festive ambiance with a fantastic choreography.
Additionally, throughout Advent, there is a dedicated children's fairy tale forest with the story tree to explore in the Kunsthaus-Passage. You can also stroll through the city in the glow of Christmas lights and admire life-sized wooden snowmen along the streets, as well as the atmospheric nativity scene at the main square. There is also a very beautiful wooden nativity scene in the Garden of Generations. At the photo point in the K&K-Passage, you can capture your visit to the Weiz Christkindlmarkt every Saturday between 10 AM and 4 PM. Of course, a carriage ride through the festively decorated city center is one of the absolute highlights of a visit to the Weiz Christkindlmarkt.
