Gaal circular hiking trail part I

This tour leads from the district of Ingering to Gaalgraben and back to the starting point. Both sections (approx. 8 hours) in one day are only suitable for hikers with good physical condition. Along the way, inns, huts and vantage points invite you to linger. A long varied round tour in the Gaal in the Murtal adventure region in Styria.
Start from the Kaiser Inn (or Gaalerhof Inn) in Ingering II - Gaal in the Murtal adventure region in styria. For a short time you walk along the Ingeringseestraße on asphalt, then you go through a small settlement of houses along the Ingering hiking trail through woods and pastures - well marked, until you can already see the Reicherhube on the right side. There a piece back on the hiking trail always uphill to the crossroads "Wolfgrube" (where you also go along a red-white-red marking to vlg. Bohrer in the direction of the villages Ingering II or Gaal) over a short piece of meadow again into the forest. There you have the possibility to climb a peak (Repenstein or Ringkogel or also further to Pletzen). Follow the forest road to the wood yard vlg. Gaalreiter; here you have the choice to hike either to the "Almstüberl" or to the "Steinwenderhütte". From the Steinwender hut, continue past a game reserve in the direction of the valley until you reach the Wachter inn.
