A church surrounded by a beautiful landscape.
The parish church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist. It was built around the year 1300 in Gothic style (mentioned in documents in 1363). Originally it was a daughter church of St. Oswald near Zeiring. Since 1788 St. John has been a parish in its own right. The church is 32 m long, 7.5 m wide, 8.52 m high, vaulted, paved with stones. The tower is 43,56 m high. The seven windows looking into the church interior have stained-glass windows, which were created towards the end of the 1st World War.
