Housed in the old historic Hangar No. 8, over 25 aircraft from the history of Austrian military aviation are on display on 5,000 m².
Among the aircraft on display are a Yakovlev Yak-18, the first aircraft to enter service with the Austrian Armed Forces of the Second Republic, and other types significant to the history of the air forces such as the Fouga CM 170 "Magister", De Havilland DH-115 "Vampire", Saab J-29F "Flying Barrel" and Agusta Bell 204 as well as the well-known Saab 35OE "Draken".
In addition to fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, aviation enthusiasts can view a simulator, aircraft engines, jet engines, anti-aircraft guns, radars, aeronautical equipment, air force uniforms and equipment, numerous display boards and photographs, as well as special exhibitions on various topics of military aviation in Austria.
