The Haissl family from Gaal offers a fine selection of regional specialties – from honey and beeswax candles to farmer's bread, high-quality spirits and liqueurs, as well as pasta, juices, syrups, and aromatic salts.
The agricultural business has been operated as a conventional hay milk farm for generations and, in addition to cows, also houses chickens, pigs, and sheep – the latter play an important role in landscape maintenance in the orchard. With much experience and passion, the business is now continued, with love for the bees and nature taking center stage.
By cultivating traditional orchards, the focus is particularly on the high-quality refinement of the fruit produced. In 2018, the business was equipped with a modern column still to bring it up to the latest technical standards, allowing for the production of exquisite distillates of the finest quality.
The range also includes fruity juices and aromatic syrups – particularly popular is the pine syrup, which delights with its distinctive red color and unique aroma. The offering is complemented by juicy farmhouse bread made from rye sourdough, pasta made from farm-fresh eggs, and finely tuned salts.
Those who appreciate regional diversity and genuine enjoyment are warmly invited to visit the farm shop and indulge in the diverse offerings. A short phone call to announce your visit is recommended. Upon request, individually assembled gift baskets for all kinds of celebrations are also offered. Furthermore, the farm regularly participates in regional Easter and Christmas markets.
