Beyond Mosauf
WeißkirchenThree women from the Mur Valley have joined forces to create a farm in Baierdorf and reorganise regional food production with their ‘beyond Mosauf’ project. An important part of their concept is the organic vegetable box for collection, which they would like to offer their customers.
The ladies have independently constructed a vegetable tunnel spanning 1500 square meters, where currently 40 different vegetable varieties are growing. These include beets, peppers, salads, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, and eggplants. Many of the seedlings were grown themselves or purchased from other organic farmers. The tomatoes will be harvested at the end of July, and arugula and sugar snap peas will be available soon. The selection of vegetables varies seasonally.
Orders can be placed via email, phone, or through Instagram. Starting mid-June, there will be a weekly box with six to eight vegetable varieties available for 25 euros, which can be picked up on Thursdays.
In addition to vegetables, the organic farm Mosauf in Baierdorf also offers beef from the Styria Beef brand available for pre-order.
Opening hours:
- The box can be ordered via email, phone, or Instagram. It costs 25 euros per week and contains six to eight different types of vegetables. You can pick up the box on Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- And if you haven't ordered a box – no problem! You can also just stop by the vegetable pop-up and choose some fresh vegetables.
