Three women from the Mur Valley have joined forces to create a farm in Baierdorf and reorganise regional food production with their ‘beyond Mosauf’ project. An important part of their concept is the organic vegetable box for collection, which they would like to offer their customers.
The ladies have built a vegetable tunnel of 1500 square metres on their own initiative, in which 35 different types of vegetables are currently growing. These include beetroot, peppers, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, spinach and aubergines. Many of the plants were grown by the women themselves or purchased from other organic farmers. The tomatoes are harvested at the end of July, rocket and sugar snap peas will be available soon. The vegetable selection varies seasonally.
Orders can be placed by email, phone or via Instagram. From mid-June, there will be a weekly box with six to eight types of vegetables for 24 euros, which can be collected on Thursdays.
In addition to vegetables, the Mosauf organic farm in Baierdorf also offers Styria Beef on pre-order.
