Cross-country skiing fees and cross-country skiing tickets

Pay once and your cross-country skis will be running on perfect tracks through Ausseerland. And that for the entire season. The purchase of the cross-country skiing tickets for the cross-country skiing areas is the first swing towards cross-country skiing pleasure.

Good to know: The use of cross-country ski trails in Altaussee, Bad Aussee and Grundlsee is free of charge.

Cross-country skiing season ticket for the Ausseerland-Salzkammergut region

The season ticket is valid for the following cross-country skiing areas:

  • Pichl-Kainisch
  • Bad Mitterndorf
  • Tauplitz Ort and Tauplitzalm (incl. discounts for the ascent via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road and the chairlifts)

Price for early birds: 79,00 Euro per person*

Note: The advance booking price is valid until 17th December 2021 at 17:00. From 18th December 2021 the season ticket is available at 99,00 Euro.

* Children up to their 16th birthday may use the cross-country skiing trails free of charge!

Cross-country skiing season tickets for Bad Mitterndorf and Ramsau am Dachstein

Cross-country skiing pleasure from Bad Mitterndorf to Ramsau am Dachstein is offered by the combined season ticket.

Good to know: Owners with a valid cross-country skiing ticket receive discounts for the ascent via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road and for the chairlifts.

Price for early booking: 179,00 Euro per person*.

Note: The advance booking price is valid until 21st December 2021 at 17:00. From 22nd December 2021 the season ticket is available at 210,00 Euro.

Prefer to cross-country ski spontaneously? Those who decide at short notice can get a day ticket for 11,00 Euro per person* an a half-day ticket for 8,00 Euro per person*.

Day tickets can be purchased at nine vending machines at the following locations:

  • Landhotel Kanzler, parking lot
  • Aldiana GrimmingTherme (at the entrance to the thermal baths)
  • Steirerhütte (at the parking lot)
  • Sonnenalm cross-country ski trail entrance (at the cross-country ski trail)
  • Obersdorf (at the cross-country trail, near the small pond)
  • Cross-country ski trail entrance Grimminghalle (at the cross-country ski trail)
  • Access to ski jump Kulm
  • Tennis courts Tauplitz village
  • Parking lot Ödensee (after the train station)

The cross-country skiing fee for three-day tickets is 25,00 Euro per person*. The validity is for three consecutive days.
