Starting at the stadium in Bad Aussee the road leads you through the area called "Sießreith". Just at the building supply store you turn to the left in direction to the area "Eselsbach". You have to follow the road, at the end of the settlement is a turn to the left and leads via the street "Scheibnergasse" steep up to the church St. Leonhard. On the street "Alte Salzstraße" leads the route upwards on the hill "Radlingpass.

Before a steep downhill there is a forest road on your left, the next turn then brings you an a steep downhill to Kainisch and on the old main road to Pichl. There the main road needs to be crossed  into the south direction. In the area "Mühlreith" you have to cross the railways, where you reach then the cycle path R19. Following this after a brief steep uphill the route brings you on a flat street to the restaurant/inn "Jausenstation Stieger". Just before this, there is a forest road to the right which brings you to the mountain pasture "Steinitzenalm". From then on you follow the signs to Bad Mitterndorf.

At the Salzastausee you have to follow the signs in direction to Kurngl and will reach soon the skiflying hill, the popular and famous "Kulm". Finally just after a short distance you will reach the railway station in Tauplitz.

Riding on authorized forest roads and paths is permitted from 8:30 am until 2 hours before dusk. Of course, game feeding areas and their immediate surroundings may not be entered. High stands are to be avoided, otherwise only to be passed at a walk.
