You start at the center of Mühlen and go approx. 100 m to the NE to the Jakobsberg-Tonnerhütte or Noreia-Mondorf fork in the road. We go left (NW) and follow path 1 on the asphalt road towards Jakobsberg-Tonnerhütte. Approximately 150 m after the junction of the nature trail (R10 Wasserfallweg), the forest path to Jakobsberg branches off to the right of the road to the Tonnerhütte and leads through an idyllic forest. Immediately before bend 2, the forest path meets the road again in the direction of Jakobsberg-Tonnerhütte. Follow the asphalted road to the fork in Jakobsberg.

Turn left again (NW) and walk past the Gasthof Simabauer into the actual town center of Jakobsberg with the Jakobskirche.
