The journey to Grundlsee is best planned with google.at/maps.

We start in Grundlsee at the information office. The journey starts in the direction of Bad Aussee. At the Weißenbach bridge, turn left in the direction of Kainisch. At the carpenter's workshop turn right over the bridge into Grubenstraße. After a long straight you turn left into a gravel road.

After the bridge over the Weißenbach, there is a somewhat steeper stretch. Afterwards, at a resting bench, you reach a forest road that comes up from below. Follow this to the left up to the Weißenbachalm. The Weißenbachalm hut invites you to a comfortable rest.

The return journey leads along the same route to the starting point at Grundlsee.

Chargeable parking is available right next to the Grundlsee information office.
