The Sturzhahn cross-country ski trail on the Tauplitzalm is part of the Salzkammergut cross-country ski trails, which cover more than 200 km.

Cross-country skiing at 1,600 meters above sea level past idyllic alpine huts.

Arrival by car to Tauplitz to the valley station of the 4-seater chairlift. From there, take the 4-seater chairlift to the high plateau.
Arrival from Bad Mitterndorf by car to the Tauplitzalm. (toll road)

Snow-sure from November to Easter, the selective Sturzhahnloipe presents itself in an incomparable mountain landscape and leads over slightly undulating terrain.

Hours of operation: daily from 08:30 - 17:00

Free parking is available in Tauplitz, near the 4-seater chairlift. There is also a large, free parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. At the end of the parking lot begins the entrance to the Lärchwaldloipe.
