From the parking lot near the Thermal Hotel Heilbrunn first to the beginning of the Salza reservoir. Follow this for about 600 meters until the fork in the forest road. There up to the right, past the barrier to the so-called "Bartleck". There it becomes flat again. Follow the forest road for the time being until you reach the former Klausgrabenstube, where the ascent becomes steeper again. Then past the Rassenbachalm to the junction on a ridge. There turn right and again alternately uphill, downhill to Miesboden. From now on it is only flat until the downhill section before the Viehbergalm.

The trail leads back along the same route.
