We start at the valley station of the
4-seater chairlift in Tauplitz. Bikes are transported free of charge.
The ascent to the Tauplitalm is quite comfortable with the chairlift. At the top station, you ride west on the asphalt road. During the one-kilometer ride across the high plateau, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.
From the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm, the ten-kilometer-long alpine road leads down to Bad Mitterndorf. Once you reach the toll booth, follow the signs for the Salzkammergut Cycle Path R19 back to Tauplitz. It is worth taking a break at the Kulm ski jump.
Then follow the R19 in the direction of Tauplitz and return to the starting point at the valley station of the 4-seater chairlift.
