On the way from Grundlsee to the Pühringerhütte are the two Lahngang lakes and further up the idyllic Elmsee near the Pühringerhütte.
These are good places for a meditation in between, for a rest in the middle of the Dead Mountains. The Hintere Lahngangsee is much smaller than the Vordere. It lies deep below the path and is difficult to access.
