The restaurant on the Loseralm at 1,600 meters above sea level with a magnificent panoramic view over the Styrian Salzkammergut to the Dachstein glacier invites you all year round to enjoy delicacies with feel-good service.

In summer, the panoramic mountain restaurant is available as a starting point for hiking and climbing tours. Until autumn 2024, the ascent for car and bus travellers will be via the toll road Loser Panoramastraße.

Feel the nature and enjoy the sun, this is possible on the large sun terrace. At the same time, the children can be watched at the playground.

The Augstsee is reached in about 15 minutes on foot. Other hiking destinations such as the Loserfenster, the Losergipfel or the Bräuningzinken are started from there. After the hike the guests are spoiled with culinary delicacies.

Detailed information about the journey

During the summer months, a toll is charged for the use of the Loser Panoramastraße for cars, buses and motorcyclists. For cyclists and e-bike riders the use is free of charge.

In winter the Loser Panoramastraße is not cleared! Ski tourers and pedestrians hike to the hut via the groomed family slope, or use the two chairlifts (Loser-Jet and DB2).
