Rustic hut at 1,540 meters above sea level with large sun terrace and fantastic panoramic views (closed in bad weather).
After the ascent with the Loser Panoramabahn , the Alpenverein hut can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot, heading towards the valley. After a rest, the path can continue back to the mountain station or downwards to the intermediate station of the panorama lift. Outside of operating hours, access by car is convenient via the Loser Panoramastraße.
If the ascent is made from the Blaa Alm (hiking trail 201), from the Loser Arena via the new hiking trail, or from the town center Altaussee (254), then a well-deserved break is taken in the dining room or on the large sun terrace before continuing to the Loser summit.
The Loser hut offers ample space for up to 80 people.
Game and Styrian specialties are served from the delicacy kitchen.

The ascent takes place with the new panorama lift. The Loserhütte is approx. 15 minutes' walk from the mountain station. After a stop at the hut, you can hike back to the mountain station and back to the intermediate station.
