The Thürlhütte is located at an altitude of 1650 meters directly on the Tauplitzalm

It was built over 200 years ago and originally served as accommodation for the dairymaid who took care of the livestock. With a lot of love and heart, the hut has been restored and expanded using the original materials.

Covering an area of approximately 110 m², the alpine hut accommodates up to seven people. It features one double room, one room with two separate beds, and a sleeping area for three people. A cozy reading corner invites you to linger, while a modern ski storage room and a contemporary bathroom provide additional comfort. Heating is provided by a gas central heating system, and there is also the option to use a wood stove.

The self-catering hut offers an ideal starting point for adventures in nature. The cross-country ski trail runs right past the hut, and the nearest ski lift is just a few meters away.

Bedding, towels, and personal necessities should be brought along. In summer, access by car is possible, and parking is available directly in front of the hut.

    The ascent to the Tauplitzalm is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)

    In summer you can drive up to the hut. In winter, the car must be left at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

from direction Vienna, Linz

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

from Salzburg

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

from direction Carinthia

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
