The Thomahof Hut is located in the heart of the Tauplitzalm 

The wooden house, built from local larch wood, offers ample space and comfort for both families and groups of friends to enjoy nature undisturbed.

With two separate holiday apartments, each featuring its own sauna and free Wi-Fi, the hut provides everything necessary for a pleasant stay.
Each holiday apartment accommodates up to eight people and also includes an extra bed in the living area on a pull-out couch. The apartments are equipped with two lovingly furnished bedrooms. A shower, a toilet, and an additional bathroom ensure comfort. The spacious kitchen/living area is warmed by a tiled stove, and there is also gas heating for extra warmth. Practical facilities such as an entrance area, a storage room, a ski boot drying room, and a waxing room are also part of the amenities.

Guests can relax on the sun terrace with tables, benches, and sun loungers while enjoying the views of the surroundings. A Weber kettle grill is available for a cozy evening.

This mountain hut is the perfect retreat for those seeking peace, comfort, and a breathtaking natural backdrop.

    The ascent is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)

    In summer you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hut.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

from direction Vienna, Linz

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

from Salzburg

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

from direction Carinthia

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
